Hot Days

NIWA defines a hot day as one in which the daily temperature exceeds a threshold of 25°C (for example, see this link). The table and charts show the number of days per month that are above this threshold limit, and the year to year distribution of those days relative to this limit. Use the dropdown lists to view the data for particular months and also to see the effect of different temperature thresholds.
